Melissa Gowdy Baldwin writes stories about love, gender roles, and social issues through the eyes of her characters.

 

A life-long learner and collector of degrees, MGB received her BA in American Studies at the University of California, Davis and her MA from the University of New Mexico with a focus on race, class, and gender. She also received her MA in English and Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University.

 

Melissa teaches high school gender studies and English as well as educational technology to new teachers. She resides in Northern California with her family, cats, Golden Retriever, and Weimaraner, Beatrice.
